For anyone who’s curious about BG in animation here is a style guide I put together for Solar Opposites season 2 as BG design lead. My pitch was to go post-war midcentury (plus I just love midcentury aesthetic) A lot of it was just reverse engineering from the first style guide but with a more graphic feel of midcentury charm. We used this as a guide for our borders to understand how the world has changed for the better. There you have!
