Last month, I was honoured to be included in a huge illustration exhibition in Taipei, Taiwan.Curated by the wonderfully talented Page Tsou - Visual Taipei featured many international illustrators, all responding to the same brief of drawing from Taipei City life. There were also little retrospectives and features on each artist involved, a great catalogue of colour and ideas from illustrators old and new.I chose to focus on “the lungs” of the city, Da-an Forest Park and created an A1 illustration of people having a nice time outside.My favourite part, though, was the having the chance to draw on a Herman Miller moulded chair! My design featured busy Londoners rushing about town.
