militarymodeller:militarymodeller:militarymodeller:militarymodeller:militarymodeller:militarymodeller:militarymodeller:militarymodeller:Next one up this Flakpanther with 8/8 cm Flakrakete Rheintochter 1.This kit will certainly keep me occupied for a week or two.Separate track links and separate track teeth…O golly please give me strenght!!Who came up with that brilliant idea to put individual track teeth in kits?I you know who that was please bring him to an insane asylum and also reserve a spot for me!196 individual track links joined to the sprue on 5 different places and 392 track teeth to cut and clean WHY? Find me a rope I might hang myself at the end ( can anyone tell why I like this )Please Trumpeter stop this nonsense go to Dragon and learn about magic tracks do us all a favor. After several hours of mindless labor the tracks are ready and primed…This is my first Trumpeter kit which has smaller parts than the average Miniart kit and o man these parts are ultra tiny!!The tracks are on and the undercarriage is complete…This build is intense…took me three days to complete the rocket support and control center. The parts count is insane and lots of photo etch on places you don’t really want!I must say again Trumpeter is steadily moving to nr.1 on my kit manufacturers list. Primed and pre shadowed with Vajejo German Yellow primer. Now were getting somewhere!!Camouflage is done now working on the rocket with 14 fins is a bit of a hassle to get the on without damaging the paintwork….Two more pics… -- source link
