Ok so there was some talk about this vision sequence and I will give you the two sides of the story that people are talking about:1) Rey has nothing to do with this scene. She is witnessing a Jedi being killed by Kylo Ren from behind with the storm troopers there as well. 2) Rey is actually retracing her steps. There is an attacker in front of her and she witnesses a red lightsaber pierce through the man. Soon after, Kylo Ren is the one with that lightsaber, seemingly, he is shown saving her life.My Theory: Do I disagree with both of these? No, because there is not enough evidence to support any of them. HOWEVER, I like the second idea, because from all the stuff I have read so far on Rey and Kylos relationship, this could make sense. The second gif shows the man (whether a Jedi or an attacker I don’t know). He had a weapon in his hand and he could POSSIBLY be using it to hurt Rey. That would make Kylo a “hero” I guess, cause he saved her life. And notice how they are just staring at each other In the last gif… As if he knows she is special and knows that he cannot kill her (could it be that they already knew each other? Maybe his compassion was strong towards her?) Again, I do not know… But this idea is credible, and will probably be explained in the next film. -- source link
