The only way to know whether or not someone is asexual or aromantic is through their own identifying as such. The newness of asexual and aromantic communities and silence around sexual orientation has robbed us of this. I appreciate it a lot. As they seem to have lost at least one, maybe more, patrons because of this, maybe some of you guys would like to make up for that? Or just generally boost this blog so that more people know about it, because as far as I can see the topics they write about are very interesting and important. Thank you for signal boosting this article! It is a really exciting one, and we are so glad we can do anything to help support the asexual community! I 100% signed up as a patron because of a post of theirs defending their stance on queer, and including ace/aros. This is the community I want to foster and be a part of. Thank you so much for becoming a patron and supporting us, it means a lot to us! Being inclusive of all queer people is essential to our project, and we are happy to see that this matters to other people too. We are delighted to share a community with all ace and aro people and we hope to always offer support and a welcoming space, so thank you for all the positive words you’re spreading about out project! -- source link
