The three items here are whale bone chess pieces made at around the same time as the Anglo-Saxon Lewis Chess set (pictured in last image). Anglo-Saxon iconography such as two headed animals and domed forms can be seen in this work and the last piece has some similarities to the pawn piece of the Lewis set.
