Daily Carbuncles #20 and #21: Alexandrite Carbuncle (as suggested by @captocie !)Alexandrite changes colour because of the way it absorbs different wavelengths of light, and is described as “emerald by day, ruby by night” - it was a natural choice to be the DPS counterpart to yesterday’s tankier Tigerseye Carbuncle.I imagine Alexandrite Carbuncle would have two morphs, a “day” form (the green one, a caster like Emerald Carbuncle) and a “night” one (a melee fighter like Ruby). It can switch morphs on command, so its versatility makes it an ideal battle pet. -- source link
