CAN WE TALK ABOUT THIS FUCKING BATTLEso I hate the stupid cave anyway (although I have lots of meta about how FFIV uses its battle mechanics in the game, much like FFIII) so I decided I was gonna blitz it and make a run for it rather than waste time grinding for the stupid non metal armoryTheneveryone died but CecilEVEN WITH ALL THE GOOD STUFF BACK ONBECAUSE FUCK THIS STUPID DRAGON AND HIS STUPID DARK BREATH THAT HE USED EVERY SINGLE TURNAnd I would revive them ONLY TO HAVE THEM DIE BECAUSE DARK BREATH FUCKING DARK BREATH anyway I am stubborn and just kept Cecil casting Cura on himself because he Countered every round, and fighting it when I could and healing when I needed it instead of just letting him die and restart which would have been smart, but I am not smart I am only stubborn…and Cecil beat it by himself…and gained three levelsI love the image of him proudly hoisting that shining sword amidst the strewn bodies of his fallen comrades -- source link
