No.I know I’m not always the most eloquent, but let me go on a mild tangent.Celebrities and talk show hosts are some of the most important figure heads capable of swaying public opinion. They’re in people’s homes multiple nights a week. They’re making them laugh, they’re making them feel and they’re showing them what they feel is an honest view of a very complicated political landscape. Its hardly unbiased, and getting your news only from a talk show isn’t brilliant, but if it saves someone from making a vote purely uneducated, or misinformed, or christ not voting at all then those talk show hosts have my respect.Im specifically talking about Stephen fucking Colbert. That man has shown more honest news segments than CNN over the past 10 years. He cares and wants you to care, and damn it these people are people too. They deserve to show their opinions for better or worse. Back off my talk show host. You will not drag him like every other person you’re disillusioned with tumblr. And damn it this election is fucking stressful and as humans they deserve to be stressed too. Stop being dicks.Actors and celebrities arent human @kanathia out here like Colbert is educating anyone on anything@kanathia , cuck. How fuckin embarrassing bud Any of these people are just…regular people. Their opinion carries exactly as much weight as you, your friend, your weird shut-in neighbor, the old lady with 100 cats, or anyone else. -- source link
