A witch from my sketchbook. Witches has through the history has a rocky relationship with regular humans, and many if them (especially older ones) can be very hostile. This sea witch has the power of using pearls for magic, like making them, weave them in hair or make trinkets to make spells. She is extremely suspicious of both humans and witches, and her spells are more often than not curses. Only if extreme respect (and proper gifts) are paid, you ask her for something. But then her spells are powerful and accurate, and can do things like give mute people a voice, allow you to walk short distances on water, or even lend you a very very small amount if magic. Her familiar is an albatross. -- source link
