Gypsum CaSO4·2H2O - 07.CD.40 (Strunz)(from El Teniente Mine, Chile) This was a gift from a friend who works in “El Teniente” (the world’s biggest copper mine) in Rancagua City, my hometown. This transparent mineral is a very soft sulfate composed of calcium sulfate dihydrate. It is very fragile, for this reason I have 4 samples. You can scratch it with your nail. -- source link
