One thing that annoys me about the writing is that as a seamstress and as a blacksmith’s daughter, Gwen was super skilled. I know the show wrote her as having a miserable time of it in Ealdor after Arthur banished her (which was ridiculously ooc for him, but that’s another story), but she was skilled enough to live a decent life (at least financially stable) outside of Camelot. There are, of course, many things that annoy me about the writing. Please add this to the list.That is such a valid point! I’m adding it to the list of bullshit the writers did -- source link
