Cup and Stand, 1100s, Cleveland Museum of Art: Chinese ArtThe kilns of Jingdezhen in Jiangxi province produced an extremely delicate porcelain made from the local resources of kaolin (white China clay) and petuntse (a feldspathic rock called china stone).
