I’ve read Kurt’s journals and bios, watched the documentaries, and wish I could time travel to have seen them in concert while Kurt was still around. This is another band that has stuck with me through the years and always will - it is absolutely one of the bands that set the direction for how my music taste would develop. Their music hits the perfect balance of grungy angst and timeless melody. It goes without saying that Nirvana played a vital role in shaping rock music as we know it - and “Nevermind” is one of the greatest albums of all time.Favorite songs: “In Bloom”, “You Know You’re Right”, “Smells Like Teen Spirit”, “Lithium”, “Heart-Shaped Box”, “Breed”. -- source link
