I saw it in 2019, right after watching a production of the same play put on by the Northwest Children’s Theater in Portland. Both productions were wonderful, but markedly different, most notably in that the San Francisco Playhouse show was not entirely for children. When Mary Poppins sang, “A spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down” to Mrs. Banks, I applauded so hard my hands blistered. -- source link
