americasgreatoutdoors:The natural beauty and rugged landscape of the Upper Missouri River Breaks National Monument in Montana will match any adventurous spirit. North America’s first dinosaur skeletal remains were discovered here back in 1855. Lewis and Clark spent three weeks exploring the segment that is now the Upper Missouri National Wild & Scenic River. These days, visitors have opportunities to float the river, fish, hike, hunt, camp, and find a little solitude. The monument makes a significant contribution to the local lifestyle and the regional economy. It gives us all a chance to fall in love with this captivating landscape.
