There’s a gnome with a long, long, long white beard, sitting behind a desk, and the desk has on it a book that is bigger than the gnome is. It’s a very, –it’s an enormous tome. Um, and behind him, is a large machine, with a huge glass tank on the top of it, containing a lot of smaller, spherical capsules inside.”I want to give The Inventure Zone a proper shoutout because every time I see a piece they’ve made it feels like I’m in an alternate universe where TAZ was a children’s fantasy book series from the 1940s and somehow several paperbacks ended up in my childhood home from a time my parents picked them up in a thrift store and I pored over the illustrations even though I didn’t/couldn’t read the story and now I’m reliving the nostalgia.
