I couldn’t believe while scrolling through my camera roll, there were no (so called) progress pics recently. It was almost 3 weeks I didn’t take any besides some quick post workout selfies. Which don’t count right? A progress pic shows flesh, possibly a lot of it, that’s in order to be compared with another, earlier progress pic. _ But you know what’s the truth. I’m not a progress freak anymore. Yes, I still like to make comparisons with my earlier stages and I was actually pretty sure I’ve lost muscle tone recently (wasn’t really checking on my physique not even in the mirror). _ But since my current goal is not about weight loss nor about any particular muscle growth, I just don’t care that much about the aesthetic side of this whole thing called #fitnessjourney. _ When it was about weightloss it was far more important to take those progress pics often. I was constantly monitoring progress. But not anymore. Now it’s about maintaining my healthy habits, eating right, working out most days and just enjoying the benefits of it all.
