I’ve lost track) thinking about Jiang Cheng here and this line: “Didn’t you say you can control it? Didn’t you say it would be okay?”and it made me think of that one post that talks about how Jiang Cheng continues to look at Wei Wuxian as his older brother who should be able to solve things, who should be able to fix things-and here that faith shatters. he’s not even angry - he’s just devastated, because he wanted to believe Wei Wuxian about this, he wanted so badly to believe him-and now he can’t. and the price of his belief has been paid by Jiang Yanli. -- source link
