I trekked out into the world with some glass jars and a reusable bag and went Co-Op Hopping. Yeah, that’s right, I’m THAT cool. The main goal of this excursion was to fill up on a pint of loose leaf English Breakfast Black Tea. Unfortunately, both of the Co-Ops I went to had only one jar of tea that was completely empty: English Breakfast. They also had no back up to refill! Talk about frustration! To quell my sadness, I decided to grab some pantry staples and peruse the reusable products offered at each store. Let’s take a little look see at what this gal found!1. You kids like popcorn? Dang it, I do! I LOVE IT. Popcorn is super nostalgic for me. My dad used to make it on the stove when I was a kid, and one of my best friends in high school was a literal popcorn guru (although he and I will never agree on what it means to put exciting seasoning on popcorn). I can’t live a life without popcorn. I just can’t. It’s not feasible. 2. Does dairy give you toots? Yeah, me too! It’s been a long journey, but I’m finally starting to get good at vegan cheese making. A big part of those recipes is based in Raw Cashews. I buy the pieces because I’m going to blend them up anyway, so why not start with smaller pieces!? 3. Most exciting! Garden Sacs! I have been looking for reusable produce bags for a bit. I couldn’t decide what I wanted, so it just kept getting put off. Well, I found some that I like! These are made of cotton, which is exciting, since a lot of the other options out there are a synthetic mesh. This is a two pack, so I’m sure I’ll need more in the future, but it’s a great start! -- source link
