Atlas, the mace of the depths - Character Concept by Davide ScaliaArtist commentary: “Inspired by Epic Games’s Paragon, i decided to create my own character. Born from foreign parents migrated from very far in the land of the emperor, he experienced the dark times of war waging with near populations who wished to overturn the kingdom. Once grown enough he decided to join the emperor’s cause and the army, getting recognized as a valid soldier, and given the opportunity to be in the emperor’s guard. In an extreme conjunted attack by allied forces he fought with all he had ending in him losing a limb to the poisoned blade of an enemy elite assassin , but managing to save the very life of the emperor. For his endeavors he was then granted a magical stone gifted by the god of the depths to the emperor: the stone was imbued with the energy coming from the center of the earth, where the god dwells. But the hero of the kingdom still wished to fight: so he was built an artificial limb powered by the magic stone. He then became Atlas, grand commander of the emperor’s army.” -- source link
