I ended up making her pose a lot more dramatic than the previous ones.This is Brinley! General of the Fae in Vlad’s Army. I did think of making Mehr the Fae General, but he’s not particularly leader-y and he can’t speak or use magic properly. I also thought of putting Brinley in charge of spellcasters. BUT. That’s Aruna’s job. So Brinley is in charge of Fae. Because she grew up with the magic rogues, Brinley doesn’t have the same kind of awkward distance between races that most people have. Vlad noticed that she could communicate with any kind of fae without being awkward and THUS. she became the Fae General. I say she’s the General, but she doesn’t really train the army or anything like Lamya or Aruna do. She deals with paperwork, recruitment and oversees things. Only if there’s a riot or war does she actually need to do smth. Anyways! Brinley is actually @maddyisenough’s oc. She was kind enough to make an oc for The Ashen Magus! The chain in the art is of course figurative. To signify that she serves Vlad against her will because he’s technically the only thing keeping her lover alive. (technically he’s the only reason her lover is in the shadow of death at all. Lol.) I only just realized I forgot the scars on her arms. WHOOP.
