pimpingweapons:MARTZ LUGER GOLD INLAID CARBINE, BY LYNTON MCKENZIE. Cal. 9mm. SN 57231. 16” rnd bbl. Blue and gold finish. Walnut stock. Engraving is by Lynton McKenzie and signed on top of breech. Name “GEO. K. SARKISIAN” is stamped inside right grip along with “JVM” logo. Date “27 Aug. 1991” along with “GKS” initials is stamped inside left grip. All elements of frame, receiver and toggle assembly are outlined with inlays of gold and engraved in a very fine floral scroll engraving. Front of the grip strap is similarly engraved with SN engraved in a band across the center of the scroll engraving. “MSTR” marking along left side of frame is also surrounded by gold. “JVM” logo on left side of frame under sideplate is followed by number “72”. There are no visible external numbers except the one engraved on front of grip strap. Front edge of stock metal is also inlaid in gold with lock lever scroll engraved. In a custom Boyt case. This is probably one of the finest Martz creations produced. Source.Based on the poll, people were generally more in favour of the standard scatter of random content and reblogs, rather than themed weeks. Righto! However, I have a LOT of Lugers in the queue - so I’ll be putting a Luger or two up every Monday until this glut of them is gone. (I probably have enough 1911s and CZ-75s for one of each every week, too, but I don’t want the blog to get too formulaic). -- source link
