archiemcphee:Illustrator Joshua Budich created an awesome series of illustrations depicting an impressively comprehensive collection of iconic foods from movies and television. Entitled Fictional Foods, the series is currently on exhibit at Gallery 1988 (West) in Los Angeles. There’s Homer Simpson’s pink sprinkled donut, the Dude’s White Russian, Mia Wallace’s $5 milkshake, quasi-nutritious Malk from the Springfield Elementary School cafeteria, Snow White’s poisoned apple, and an ominous bucket of fried chicken batter from Los Pollos Hermanos. And that’s barely scratching the surface of all the immediately recognizable pop culture-related comestibles in this entertaining exhibit.Fictional Foods will be on display at Gallery 1988 (West) through June 6, 2015.Click here to view more pieces from the show.Visit Joshua Budich’s website or follow him right here on Tumblr at jbudich to check out more of his artwork.[via WHUDAT] -- source link
