Rare Remington-Rider Magazine Pistol with engravings and pearl grips.Invented by Joseph Rider in 1871, the Remington Rider pistol held five .32 caliber cartridges in a tube magazine located below the barrel. When the hammer was cocked, it would also cock a second hammer which would load a cartridge from the magazine. After firing the user would cock the hammer again and the empty cartridge would be ejected from the breech allowing a new cartridge to be automatically loaded.Sold at Auction: $5,175 -- source link
