Echeveria pulidonis x elegansPlants in the genus Echeveria (most of them from Mexico) are often referred to as “hens and chicks”, in reference to the way little plants emerge around the mother plant, like a mother hen with her brood. This particular one is a hybrid between Echeveria elegans (the “Mexican snowball”), with pink flowers, and Echeveria pulidonis, with yellow flowers. The yellow wins out in the hybrid, as it usually does when E. pulidonis is crossed with another species.-Brian -- source link
