i-hate-chick-fil-a: Bernie needs to emphasize Medicare for all and make a plea to the older generation. Bernie needs to just say at the debate: “I support Medicare for all. I wrote the bill. It’ll help enormously in situations like we have now, with coronavirus. My good friend here Joe Biden opposes it and pledged to veto it at President. To the older generation I ask you to talk to your children and grandchildren. Yes you may have gone through tough times growing up but it is vastly different now. The enormity of students debts and potential of significant medical debts means your children and grand children won’t ever be able to own a house let alone get a mortgage. Talk to them, they’ve got a raw deal. They’ll tell you they support me. And if you want to support them, then I ask you to vote for me.” -- source link
