To take someone ordinary and show them that, even though they exist as only a small part of an ever-expanding universe, they are extraordinary, important and one of a kind? Having a companion that’s “ordinary” gives Whovians a chance to live in their shoes—to run with The Doctor—to be brilliant and to make a difference in the universe; because, like Rose, we are ordinary people who haven’t yet discovered how unique and important we are.Rose is she genuine, caring, and even when she thinks she’s going to die, she spends (what she believes to be) her last moments comforting The Doctor because she knows he will blame himself. She reassures him that he has changed her life and even if she knew this would happen, she would still travel with him.I know right?!!! I freaking love Rose -- source link
