rosiethorns88: Dropping this new illustration inspired by The Mortal Instruments by @cassandraclare, featuring the crew from the New York Institute! Featured on a HUGE puzzle, part of the 2021 Literary Locations add-ons from LitJoy Crate!This was such an action-heavy illustration! So much pose! So much SFX! But I had to shove everyone out to the edges to make room for the centerpiece figure of the NY Institute building! We wanted to feature the true building and a super-imposed image of its glamour as a ruined cathedral. If it’s not apparent, I’m a huge fan of using dutch angles and wide angle perspectives in my illustrations - and that absolutely had to happen here to fit in the sheer size of the building and its surroundings.
