cruelfeline:Gosh, but I love this scene.I love the ease of it. I love how Hordak, someone who has spent his entire life hiding his illness, managing it himself out of shame and fear and vicious self-loathing, just… lets Entrapta help him. It’s such a simple thing, holding his arm out like that, and yet, it’s monumental. He trusts her.He might growl and grumble as she chides him (and he does; even bares his teeth a bit in his grousing!), but he holds still so that she may work. And while he looks away in line with maintaining a stoic, unaffected demeanor, he can do so because he knows that she won’t harm him in any way.Hordak may not be outwardly “friendly” in how he behaves during this scene, but the fact that he allows Entrapta to take care of him as if he’d been doing so all along… it speaks volumes, this brief moment. The level of trust that’s developed between them, the level of comfort Hordak has built up in letting someone touch and care for him… it’s so deeply touching. -- source link
