labphoto:Just another picture from the previously posted highly fluorescent lithium salt. Something interesting about this: the solution in the flask (30 cm3 of ether) contains only 35 mg (0,035 g) of the compound in it, so it has a quite intense fluorescence. Sadly I needed something else and not this compound what have formed from the reaction, but it’s not that bad, obtaining a highly fluorescent compound is much-much better than obtaining a black tar from a reaction. -- source link
