I IsaStasis, ice, hindrance, standstill. Frozen chicory and snowflake obsidian, a volcanic rock (long, harsh winters often follow large eruptions)I’ve always dreaded this rune. Drawing it, to focus entirely on it at length, was an ambivalent feeling. Stagnation, being trapped, lack of freedom and movement are the worst possible states to me (even Hagalaz’ chaos and destruction seems more inviting with its promise of drastic change). I initially thought I’d make it a double-post and pair it with a more cheerful one. I concluded that it was both infantile and unfair to it. Isa is part of the road as much as everything else, better to face and accept it. -- source link
