The Kayapo being expelled from their homes for the construction of the Belo Monte Dam, which will flood 400.000 acres of the Amazon Rainforest in Brazil.These photos are from early 2008 and are not of the Kayapo tribe specifically. HOWEVER the Belo Monte Dam does pose a serious threat to the Kayapo people and the ecosystem of the Amazon River.
