bababangerz:The following post is about Kesha Sebert and RCA Records. The Miley Gif is only used because of how well fitting the quote is.Kesha Sebert (styled Ke$ha) is being stumped from expressing herself throughout her music. Her record label, RCA, turns down every chance she’s had for a change in her music style. You con find proof here in a clip from season one of “Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life” (0:41- 1:29). She admits to wanting a different sound on the record, but her label is nothing but against it. She later says (at 1:46) “I can’t just write party songs forever.” As most of us know, Kesha grew up in Nashville, around all types of music. She’s expressed her love for country and rock especially. When she was eighteen, desperate to make music, she signed to RCA, going against the many people telling her otherwise. Now, She is stuck with RCA Records for an eight album contract (now only 6 more). If you listen to her demos and other unreleased work, you can hear the other sides of her, and how versatile she can actually be. She has constantly made remarks about the situation in public. When asked about an upcoming single, Kesha’s said on two occasions; “I woulld really like that to be a single, but my label would never allow it. I want it to be though.” Her fans are obviously not happy with the dilemma. Most blame the whole situation on ‘Dr. Luke’. The Animals (her fans) have decide to start a petition which will hopefully result in giving her more creative freedom with her upcoming projects. Click here to sign the petition, every signature counts. For more information, please contact the creators of the petition here at their Twitter. Also, when the petition reaches a certain amount of signatures, they will post a never before heard Kesha song. You can find the ones already unlocked here on their Soundcloud. -- source link
