Active recovery rides are beneficial in that they enhance blood flow and nutrient delivery to the broken down muscles. If my joints are sore i go running. Today i combined cycling and swimming. And treating myself to a sundown ice cream :) 2 hours in hr. zone 1 is perfect . -- source link
