Repost from @chynax_24•For the first 5 months of my loc journey I use to wear wigs and protective hairstyles to cover my Locs because I did not like how they look. They were very short and due to me having a perm a lot of my ends were still relaxed . At month 5 I decided to cut the permed part and told myself I would wear my hair out and be confident . Since then I’ve been wearing my locs out and still cannot believe how much growth I’ve experienced over the 3 years. Locking my hair is still one of the best decision I’ve made in life . I feel so free, sexy, confident , and beautiful with my Locs! Hopefully this encourage you to start your Locs if your thinking about it . It’s definitely a journey and it doesn’t happen overnight .
