How much discipline, punishment, humiliation is needed to take a strong grip over her property. When to praise, when to scold, when to reward and when to punish physically. At the same time, the slave needs to learn her place, learn the frame and the space that is given to her. She must also recognise how much self-sufficiency is expected from her. Mistresses tend to fall into one of the four Owner stereotypes. Owner Stereotype: the Dread Mistress. She rules by fear. Keeps her slave in the most defenseless and powerless state possible. Her slave usually wears thick stainless steel shackles with heavy chains, ring gag, labia spreader, sometimes yoke and leg spreader. The slave has to perform acts of submission at every interaction. She almost never rewards her slave, however she almost never punishes either, but instead threatens, humiliates and forces her physically or through the restraints. -- source link
