vincentbriggs:I finished my linen toile dressing gown! It’s a practice one for the patchwork 1830′s dressing gown I’m working on, since I’ve never done any 19th century tailoring before and don’t want to screw anything up after spending so long sewing thousands of little triangles together. I’m very glad I did a practice one, because there are definitely some construction things I’ll do differently. I also need to change the bodice pattern a bit, mainly around the lapels and collar, and will mock it up once more just to be sure.(Thank you @d0nutd0g for taking this photo!) -- source link
