I have questions about top row, left, and bottom row, left as wellthese were boned but non-structural belts or outer bodices worn over another bodice or blouse, usually as daywear, during the 1860s (though some form of the concept continued through the early 1900s). thus:a good way to tell what’s a Swiss waist and what’s an evening bodice- since by the 1840s, the rule of “short sleeves on adult women for evening only” was firmly in place -is to investigate the era in question to see if true sleeveless evening gowns were worn. generally you don’t start seeing those until the 1880s, and even then not often, but there are sometimes exceptions to the rule -- source link
