ironmq: Some say triathlon is a lonely sport. I say it’s a sport where you can learn a whole lot about yourself. This morning I opted out of the group ride. 42 miles seemed far for me. Riding in a group… more torture. So I headed out by myself to the dam. Closed to traffic and flat with the exception of two hills. The one and only bad thing…WIND. It is going to take MANY more little rides before I feel I can conquer a big ride. Baby steps. Get ready to see more bike stuff in my future. If my knee isn’t going to play nice and let me run, then cycling it is. 16 miles. 16.2 average. Flat but windy. -- source link
