greek-museums:Archaeological Museum of Arta:Coroplastic art:Moulds with contemporary casts (in light yellow) found at the workshop of Satyr. (4th century B.C), and various figurines and tablets from other local workshops (5th-2nd century B.C)In Ambracia, especially during the Late Classical and the Hellenistic period, numerous ceramic workshops cater to the daily needs of the residents, both domestic and religious, in vases and statuettes. The pottery workshops were located to the city center, while workshops for the production of statuettes were situated near the south-western cemetery. The discovery of a large number of clay moulds, all coming from an eponymous workshop, bears testimony to the thriving coroplastic production in the city. All bear the name Satyrus, who was the artisan of the workshop. -- source link
