blog-pedalnorth-com: @Regrann from @sciencebikegirl - In today’s world of easy-access social media it’s very easy to get caught up in the perfect lifestyles that are portrayed and to have the feeling that you’re not quite where you should/want to be in life. Today I’m taking a leaf out of @wonderfulwildwomen book of life and choosing to state loud and proud 5 things that I LOVE unashamedly about myself. 1. I love my scars. They remind me of adventures I’ve had and remind me that the human body is an amazing machine. 2. I love my glasses. Long gone are the days of being called a specky-four-eyes and I love that wearing them makes me more unique. 3. I love my freckles, both the real ones that appear in the sun and the mud ones that I attain after a particularly sloppy bike ride. 4. I love how I am in control of my own destiny and do things because I want to, not because it’s the done thing or what is expected of me 5.
