The rubber suit will only be removed for ten minutes once a week when the slave’s body is being hosed down with cold water in Master’s backyard. Once its training is complete, the slave will regard the rubber as an extension of its body, a second skin. The ten minutes of “freedom” will become uncomfortable to the slave as though a layer of skin has been ripped from its body. The rubber helps break down the slave’s sense of identity and, by extension, its resistance and helps it recognize the fact that it is no longer human, it is an object, Master’s property. The next step in the dehumanizing process is always the most fun in Master’s opinion. A hood with a special chemical that permanently adheres to the skin and prevents hair growth is placed over the slave’s head. This hood is never removed even during the hosing down sessions and, in fact, cannot be removed under any circumstances without tearing the skin off the slave’s face. The slave hood will become a permanent part of the slave for the rest of its pathetic life and will strip it of identity completely since the face is often seen as the key to identity. Being unable to see its own face again and recognizing that it is now just an indistinguishable black object helps the slave in truly grasping that the future that it thought it had is gone. It can never regain its old life or rejoin the real world. It will join Master’s five other indistinguishable slaves who all once had promising futures and now only live to serve. In time, all of Master’s slaves forget what they looked like, their past, and even their own names. The slaves are objects that only live to serve the whims and wishes of Master. -- source link
