pitchstreetteam: pitchstreetteam: Baseball Cards for #PickUpPitch Pitches, We are just warming up in our fight to find Pitch a new home. Last week we got the devastating news that the show was canceled by Fox. We immediately sprang into action to start campaigning to find it a new home. Previously when we campaigned we sent things to get noticed like baseballs and special postcards. Fox no doubt noticed these things even if ultimately they chose to ignore them. Networks will be canceling lots of shows in the coming days which will result in cries for streaming services to rescue those shows. We as Pitches need something that will set us apart. So, we have come up with printable baseball cards to send in. We’re going for the ‘we asked first, asked better’ effect here. You can download the file (s) and print these fun cards (click the double-sided option when you go to print) and write on the back reasons why Hulu, Netflix, and MLB Network should pick our Padres up. These cards DO NOT have to be printed in color. Tweeting is great and it helps us get noticed but it’s the physical mail that actually helps to make a LOUDER statement and impact. Anyone can tweet. Everyone will tweet. It makes an impression on a company when fans take the time to send something the old fashioned way. It shows loyalty and dedication. If we take the time to take these few extra steps it will show Netflix, Hulu, and MLB network that we will hold up our end of the deal and follow Pitch if one of them should pick it up. Please track your mailings, emails, and letters using THIS FORM. Lastly, if we are serious about finding Pitch a new home it will take effort from everyone. We need you guys writing letters, emails and sending baseball cards. We have to be even louder than we were before. Way louder. Fun Facts about the #KeepHerInTheGame Campaign 407 baseballs PLEDGED, 424 baseballs TRACKED 588 postcards SOLD (no profit was made by PST), 403 postcards TRACKED as SENT These numbers were solid. We are so proud of the impact we know we’ve made. We have to keep this momentum going and MORE. Chuck, Longmire, and Nashville weren’t picked up after they were canceled because a handful of people fought for them. Everyone in the fandom made noise. If you didn’t send anything last time we need you on board this time. We cannot afford to have any bench riders on the team this time around. We gotta go harder and longer than any other fandom. It might just come down to stamina. We hope to see you on the field. If you have any questions drop us an ask/tweet. -PST Mail the baseball cards to: Hulu Craig Erwich, Senior VP Head of Content 2500 Broadway Fl 2 Santa Monica, CA 90404 Netflix Ted Sarandos, Chief Content Officer Netflix Corporate Headquarters 100 Winchester Circle Los Gatos, CA 95032 MLB Network Andy Butters, Vice President of Programming MLB Network 1 MLB Network Plaza Secaucus, NJ 07094 -- source link
