uesp:Did You Know: One of the greatest innovators of printing technology in Tamriel was the Orc Urbek the Wordsmith? Urbek grew increasingly interested in “wordsmashing” during his blacksmithing apprenticeship at Four Irons Smeltery. Urbek would first use sheet metal to express the written word, before developing letter stamps, then using lines to secure a row in place before inking, then adding in lowercase letters, then developing a method of copying entire pages at once, ultimately leading to him developing a way to quickly mass-print pages for widespread distribution. -- source link
