copperbadge:If you started reading X-Men comics in about, oh, mid-November, you could actually see Hank McCoy slowly losing all the fucks he ever had to give.I was reading a book about the history of Marvel comics recently and one of the writers who worked on Avengers while Beast was a member in the seventies flat out said “We couldn’t put it into the script, but at the time Beast was in his early twenties and he was totally smoking a lot of pot.” I feel like maybe if he had a few nostalgic tokes he would be a much happier man.[From Amazing X-Men #1, 2013.] -- source link
