Moving back home in a quest to bring light to the darkness that lingers inside of me has given me the opportunity to a completely new beginning to allow my spirit to take the reigns and guide me in the right direction my soul craves. This has been overwhelming as I let go and surrender all of the control I felt like I had over my life, financially and materialistically, over the past seven years while sustaining myself in CA. Coming home has helped me understand that lifestyle was part of the door that has now closed, and to embrace these new coming changes within this new door opening in my life. Feeling like I’m starting completely over after feeling like I had my life together is overwhelming, but I can either allow this new opportunity to defeat me, or I can see it as the beautiful opportunity to allow my truest colors to shine. Yesterday I felt defeated. Today, I refuse to let my new beginning start off in that dark mindset that ego wants. One small and steady baby step at a time will pave a more secure foundation than giant leaps forward with giant cracks in the foundation.
