FYi for @britishdetectives and other like-minded folks: @acorntv‘s Mystery Road is eminently binge-watchable. Judy Davis is an absolute queen, and Aaron Pedersen is fascinating. It’s stylish, smart noir drama, with flawed but sympathetic humans snarking at each other and solving crime. Truly, one of my favorite sub-genres. The music is great and, not least, the show tackles Australia’s histories of colonial violence in a fascinating way.(Photo from here.) -- source link
