norapotwora:My entry for the GalaxysCutest contest by CLIP STUDIO PAINTI haven’t done any character design for a while, so I’ve decided to play with it a bit. Let me tell you what I had in mind!I’ve decided to mix some symbols/themes from Korean and Japanese culture, so we have there a tiger (what is South Korea national animal), a japanese macaque and a samurai. But it’s not just an ordinary samurai.He is intergalactic explorer, who always travel with his macaque companion to conduct research on organisms from other planets. He’s super friendly and love to draw, and it’s why he always document his discoveries by doing drawings and sketches on his tablet. It usually attracts a lot of creatures from the local planet, what make the traveller very content… Unless the creature is not that friendly. Fortunately in this case they met some kind, flying beings! -- source link
