lolajlove:West African Gyal …It took me a while to be proud of where I’m from because when I first moved here to America, people always made fun of Africans for some weird reason. Not until I fully accepted myself for who i completely am before I could be proud of ME and I soon started to realize that people’s ignorance and stupidity has nothing to do with me. I started appreciating the fact that I was different and different is good, from my accent down to my culture and traditions. Today be proud of who you are and where you’re from.
